The Spark Delay Unit for my Electra X has arrived from our hosts. Wiring instructions fairly clear. But where it mounts on the bike is not. (There is a slot which mean it must push onto a "tang" somewhere.)
Anyone got a clue please?

As this item was originally a Watsonian-Squire reaction to a factory oversight I don't think it actually HAS a "correct" mounting position, papasmurf!



I suggest it goes somewhere under the seat alongside some of the other 'leccy bits. If it has to be on a tang somewhere you can make one from a bit of steel strip and bolt it to a suitable hole. Creativity! Otherwise slip a cable tie through the tang slot and strap it to something.

Due to the home made seat that rests on the top tube members of my Electra X (ish) there is next to no space under the seat.
About the only place I can think of is the move the indicator relay so it is behind the "false" tool box cover on the left hand side of the bike and put the spark delay where it was.
