Could never work out the carb thing; surely wide open and running the same size bore and main jet the name cast on the side doesn't matter so much? Simplistic I know, but a mikarb is so similar to a mikuni (but cast in another country...... brings Bullet to mind?) I remember when the way to hot up some late lamented Brit twins was fitting Mikunis and ditching the standard Amals which everyone seems to covert now!
