Does anyone know what the EFI ignition timing is supposed to be?. I know the crank sensor sends a pulse but then the ECU monkeys with the numbers. Do we know what the 'static' timing is? Or dynamic? Apparently A/R is also controlled by the throttle position
I've been right the way through the workshop manual (service manual), plenty of references to the ECU controlling ignition but no numbers at all. I'm trying to work out how much advance/retard to use at high revs on the PCV. For that I need to convert the angle to time (micro seconds). For that I need some kind of reference starting point.
If not the EFI then any previous model's numbers might suffice?
