One titbit from me - remove the fuse from the lighting circuit when taking TPS readings.

Even when the engine is not running the TPS output voltage increases when electrical load is placed on the system. Do this to avoid setting the TPS incorrectly or when taking a reading you wish to duplicate at some point in the future .

The hunting your describing can be caused by a carbon fouled tip on the Lambda sensor which is located beneath its metal guard - whilst you can purchase dedicated cleaner, I've found brake cleaner works quite nicely.

When checking the tps it's better to use an analog meter. In this way you should see the needle sweep as you open and close the throttle. With a digital meter all you get is illegible numbers, though of course it's fine for determining fully shut and fully open tps voltages.
