My Bullet had a high oil consumption and low compression, and I opened the engine to check what is wrong.

One amazing thing I found: the inlet valve was mounted in the exhaust port, and the exhaust valve in the inlet port.
The valve on the exhaust side had a lot of whitish deposit, and the valve on the inlet port had a lot of oily deposits in the upper part. Both valves had quite some play between the valve stem and the bushing.

I measured the cylinder bore and piston. The wear was rather good, and certainly within tolerances.

Had a lot of fun with it, but not with removing the cylinder head. That took a lot of time.
