Thanks for the replies (and the link Scaly). It was a simple bracket and bezel swop to make it fit Adrian, and it appears to be only 4mph slow on the 2:1 drive so near enough accurate for me. Interesting that your early 500 has the same Mark, I guess we'll never know, but the reverse type with the 30mph line facing right are much commoner.
