does anyone know the proper solonoid for 2009 bullet 500cc efi trials. is there a replacement part from a Honda etc that would do the job. cheers h

I don't know of a replacement part but I have been pleasantly surprised how helpful my local auto-electrics rebuild place has been on other projects. If you take your unit to one of these guys they may well be able to help. Or tell you there's no chance! They're usually on some anonymous industrial estate well hidden away, so might need a search. Maybe I was lucky but I get the impression these guys would rather repair than throw away, proper old fashioned.

I use replacement solenoids intended for Jet skis/water craft and or Farm bike (quads)...


Not least because they are usually designed to have somewhat better water proofing.


If you buy from your local Honda/Kawasaki shop they will be more expensive than the same part sourced from your local friendly Automotive electrical wholesaler.
