I put Finilec in the rear tyre of a 750/4 Honda down in Cornwall to get back home to Surrey. I eventually changed the tube when I changed the tyre. Even though the 750/4 used to go through a TT100 or Roadrunner in about 1500 miles it might have been there a while but it never went flat again.

I used the green goo in my mountain bike. It seemed to work very well - no punctures in about a year on and off-road. Cycling home from work one evening there was a massive bang, surely a shotgun going off, but no, it was my rear tyre which had torn itself apart, leaving a two inch rip in the tyre carcass, which still had a fair amount of chunky tread left. This led me to think that there might have been a minor puncture which the goo covered up, subjecting the inner tube and tyre to enough stress over time to cause the catastrophic failure. So, I've not used the stuff since.
