I have a '53 Meteor with a '55 Albion gear box and it keeps popping out of first. I've opened it up and repack the gears with bearing grease and topped it off with a 50 wt. motor oil. All of this while still in the frame so the mainshaft stayed in. I've cautiously tried to reset the spring box screw with little to no effect. This gear box is a recent purchase so I'm unaware of its history. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
