Thanks for all the replies lads. It is greatly appreciated. From what you say, I think I'm OK with the 75 MpG. I checked Fuelly.com and I seem to be doing alright and possibly a little higher MpG than average. I don't ride the bike at full throttle all the time, I'm too old for that. I do give him 'all the beans' once in a while but never for more than a couple of miles. The country roads here don't allow that (general speed limit on country roads is 50 mph) and I don't do motorways.

I'll keep an eye on it though and if it changes drastically, I'll let you know.. Thanks again.

My electra x is averaging 87mpg running to and from work. Its a 28 mile round trip using A roads and about 4 miles unclassified. I normally ride.at about 60mph to keep up with the traffic. The most I have had is 97mpg but that was never above 50mph due to the weather

Yep my spedo (EFI Import) waves around like the Queens arm above 40.
Got 220 miles out of 11 quid so very impressed works out about 75mpg. Im a newbe to the enfield so still learning.

Some careful measuring using a GPS for distance gives me 80 mpg on a low mileage B5 Bullet EFI ridden reasonably carefully.

I thought I was getting 85 mpg from my C5,but the odometer reads high, about 5% or more.
