How do I lubricate the s/a bearings on my 2011 C5 as suggested by the w/s manual at 7,500 miles? I can;t find any grease nipples and apart from spraying WD40 on the rear tyre or stripping out the whole rr end I can't think of a way of doing it . . . your thoughts much appreciated as usual.

Don't wish to speak out of turn but i don't think i would bother with those silly nylon bushes..

Next time you change the rear tyre why not upgrade to the metalastic bushes as sold buy mr H..

Not bad for less than £20 and will save embarrassment at a future MOT..

How easy/difficult is it to drive the old bushes out and push the new ones in?

I swapped to the Hitchcock bushes when I got my RE as the original placcy jobs were cream crackered after just 3k miles. They literally fell out and fitting the new ones were a doddle. Just make sure you read the instructions about postioning the swingarm before tightening up to avoid putting constant tension on the bushes, simple to follow but don't miss it.
