Restoring my father's silver framed GT 250, does anyone know the code for the silver frame colour ?

I had a problem restoring a car. The original paint fades over time, so even if you have a colour code, which is unlikely in this case, it won't match. There are specialist auto-paint shops that can supply 'faded' paint by scanning the colour of the aged original. They can work from a photograph but photos rarely match the original colour, or use their colour swatches to best match. There's usually a paint shop in most towns supplying car repairers. It rather depends on whether you want to restore it 'as new' or 'as now'.
