Hello all I am a newbie here, and i am looking for info.. I have a 54 250 fire arrow with 6 volt + ground system, I do not have the original ignition switch and my wiring is not correct .. i have a switch with just on/off anyway i am wondering if any one would know how i can wire it with this switch (a diagram bypassing the original switch)(my manual does not show the switch operation) as the original has so many terminals ?? .. is there a simple diagram some one could send me a to wire this bike with just a on/off switch , my system is a Lucas A.C.lighting-ignition ...thanks in advance.. :)

See if you can find the wiring diagram for a BSA C15 on line, these originally also had the 6V Lucas alternator system with the battery by-pass position on the ignition key for emergency starting. Once you have figured out the circuit you can modify the diagram for a simple on-off switch or key switch. Be careful to avoid competition model diagrams which featured the notorious energy transfer ignition. A.
