Sorry about first picture that's a clock of my yamaha fizzy now restored withiw mileage lol I took battery off the bike and took it to local bike shop voltage is 0.00 dead so I'll try a new on her later this evening and hope she starts if she does Its booked in for mot in morning and I'll ask them to check volts again and then next week hope to take a spin to see paul in Llandovery for a service and check over

Dazza, are you sure your kick-starting procedure is correct?
I've never tried a 350, but on my 500 I wouldn't try to start with the maximum compression under my foot.
You should press the decompressor lever to release compresssion as you slowly kick the engine over the compression.
As soon as there is no further 'hiss' of escaping air (and the ammeter should flick back to zero from a small negative number) and you are over compression, then release the lever and give it a fgood swinging kick.
Somewhere in this agony column there is a good description of how to kick start it.

Thanks Chris just fitted new battery and she started on second kick ðŸ‘so when it has mot in morning I'll ask guy to test it again with his voltage meter again I'll make a trip next week I hope or the week after up to Paul the Bullet Whisper in Llandovery and I'll have him check a few things like my Decompress lever it is a plastic one there dosent seem a lot of strength in it I have to hold it forward for the spring to push down into the head and also my AMP gauge on my bike the needle always stays in the centre or about even with the key out of ignition even when a flat battery was fitted

Fitting the new battery has resolved your problem. Anything farther is best explained to you face to face by the BW when you visit LLanwwrda. I lived for a while in a pub called the Feathers there back in the 1960s, before that it was the North Western in Llandovery. Are they still there I wonder?
