If want to keep it tidy and keep the moisture out of it you can always use wire shrink-wrap. There are lost of sets for different diameters on Ebay and it's tidier than insulating tape. It is a bit habit forming though, once you've used it once you'll find yourself shrink-wrapping every wire in the house.

If I may, the point of a minimalized loom isn't merely to extinguish a couple of light bulbs. It is to minimalize the loom.

On Slo Poke, building a loom is relatively simple - as I have very little that I have to keep running thanks to points and coil and age related regulations - but, before you get carried away, you need to fully understand what you need to keep the bike running and to pass an MOT/inspection by the Plod.

But, in general, I would urge you to carefully consider how 'skills-capable' you are yourself, or 'cash-capable' you are when you can't do something yourself, before embarking on this project.

Failure to do so WILL result in an unfinished or, very bodged, bike that will likely give no pleasure to anyone.

Sorry to p*ss on your chips but, whenever my advice has been ignored, events have proven me right,
