I've just fitted a new chain to my 2004 Bullet 'sixty 5' and find that the joining link pins jam against the back of the primary case as I turn the wheel by hand. There is very little clearance in this area anyway and the pins do protrude an extra mm more than the riveted ones. Has anyone experienced this? Will it be OK to just reverse the joining pin (so the split link plate is on the inside of the chain) as this should provide more clearance.
