Hi Mark, many thanks for the welcome reply. Constellations are a rare bird in this area, so I am on a steep learning curve. I found mine as a basket case, and confirmed with the R.E.O.C. that the frame and engine numbers match, but that the gearbox is not the original - but it is complete! Mine is one of 10 imported into Canada in 1959, 9 went to Montreal and 1 to Toronto. No indication of which bikes were shipped to which city, however, there is an anomaly on mine, the frame, swing arm, seat support are all chromed, plus the spokes and cylinder head bolts are chromed also. I have posted a question on the Canadian vintage motorcycle group monthly magazine asking if anyone remembers it, so we will see what transpires. I did think it might have been a show model, but...not so. Good progress so far, cylinders bored to 60 over, crank is being ground 20 over (or is that under), parts being assembled thanks to Hitchcock's, when there is some significant progress I will post a picture. Best of luck with your carb search. Thanks again for the help.Percyboy.
