you are correct and there is more recent information on the site, which should be usedl when working on the things, but it is also nice to see the original documents too.
I found a lovely advert the other day, You may have all seen it before, but here goes anyway!

No probs, Scaly, but an edit facility, which other members have also asked for would help. And being more careful when typing and/or reading before posting would help too. ( me included!)
This forum has changed massively since I first used it after buying a new 1992 500, black and chrome. Back then everybody used their name, and Alan H used to monitor and contribute to the forum. Even the great Ray Knight, TT racer of Triumph and Enfield twins used to participate in the forum. I was once flattered to be recognised by Alan when I made a rare visit to Hitchcocks, when he heard my name at the counter, and came out to talk and shake my hand! Fame at last, I guess that was my 15 minutes! So after being given a light ticking off by one member because I was"new" on the site, I have probably been contributing, on and off, for many more years than a lot of the present members. Still enjoy it though, and find it usefull to gain knowledge and hopefully share mine from time to time. I do miss Alan's input though, but his business has grown so much since then his time must be used to run it. End of reminiscent ramble!
