Maybe if we had timing lamps, we'd take the time to do it. But it seems like a fair chunk of change for something one might use only once or twice after having bought it and, personally, I don't know anyone who has one I can borrow. I'm not even sure how to use one so, for now at least, it has to be my ear and the riding experience.

Thumper has always been fun to ride but today's run after making the said adjustment was truly pleasurable. As I said, I'm calling this a success. The whole thing seemed to come together on the way home. Acceleration, response and a solid performance. It can't be anything but right.
