Hello,

My name is Jeff and this is my first contact attempt for this site. I have a war era Flying Flea that I am restoring. The tube that is welded to the frame for the foot pegs and kick stand is missing. I am going to have a new on fabricated and re-welded to the frame. I am hoping someone can tell me dimensions of the tube. The inside diameter, outside diameter and length. I purchased the foot peg shaft from Hitchcocks and it is 9.5 inches in length. Thank you very much for any help.

Jeff it is 7 and a quarter inches long, od is just over 7/8 inch didn't measure the id but whatever suits the bolt. I did away with the magneto on this one and just run it points/coil ignition, starts every time first kick and runs like a treat with plenty of smoke

Jeff, with this one I have run it as a total loss system with 12 volt led's but if you wanted to you could probably run 12 volt ignition and retain the magneto coil for lighting if you wanted. This one with 12 volt lighting,horn and ignition is perfect, does everything without issues and will start first kick every time
