My 2000 model 500 Bullet first "died" on Sunday July 14th 2013, after it's third in a month piston nip-up, caused by weak running/overheating and eventually, nearly zero compression. Damage was a badly scored piston, barrel and rings were not healthy either, and carbon build up was of Mt. Everest proportions? It came back to life on 04th April this year, with certain other frame and front and rear end "mods" ect sorted out, and I've covered a completely trouble free 4,900 km's, until last Sunday, the 13th July, exactly one year on and kapuut again? Collapsed rear wheel on this occasion (see other posting today).
With the swift service provided here, I'll have this moving again before the end of the week...
