The front brake on my 1960 350 Bullet is not very good.I have put up with it for years but hope someone will have some ideas about improvements.
It is the SLS 7 inch brake.Fitted with modern linings from our hosts say 10 years ago, these were bedded in using abrasive paper glued to the drum.
Cable is good and lever adjusted to give max torque at drum end.
The brake can be quite good after a few hard operations but at other times is not so good.
Brake drum has the cast in/immoveable fixed pivot, has anyone modified this bit?
I have tried a TLS on an Indian bike and it was ok.is this the way to go?
Any comments appreciated,thanks.

Odd, it should be ok on a 350 Bullet. I have the same brake on my Mk1 Interceptor and it's ok considering the extra weight and power. Maybe linings worn out or glazed after 10 years?
