Just a follow up about Hammerite and the quality thereof.
A couple of years ago I spray Hammerited the cutting deck on a big grass topper. I just overhauled the machine and the Hammerite is still mostly there on the deck top (as you might expect)
I was rather amazed to find that there was a fair amount still adhering to the underside of the deck were the blades fling all sorts of crap, not just grass, around at high velocity.
So perhaps it's better than I thought.
I must add that the deck had been sand blasted and primed properly before the Hammerite went on.
