It is nearly time for this year's MOT for my 500 Classic Deluxe. Giving her the once over, it looks like she needs a new set of rubbers on the carb - air filter connection rubber and intake manifold hose. I have not had to replace them before so was wondering whether anyone out there had any tips on the best way to do this? Look forward to hearing from you while I order a new set of rubbers from our hosts.

If yours has the square air- cleaner box, it`s easier to remove it first and then the carburettor;fit the hoses and reassemble leaving the air cleaner last so you can compress the hoses as you align the box locating screws in their slots.
