Hi
Does anyone know how many balls there should be in each steering stem ball race, top and bottom? Yes even after all these years working on bikes I let them fall on the floor! I have 36 (18 for each bearing?)

Just found the answer - should be 19 in each race. Just found two more balls under the back tyre. Ho hum.

Had the same problem Graham, re built the front end but forgot the number. Had 18 top and bottom and put it all back together only to find one straight after on the floor and then another a week later!
