Got it now, Alan - and sorry for having a blond moment!! Not having removed them yet, I was thinking the chrome bolt released the fork leg - not that it actually unscrewed from the cassquette afterwards!! Nothing actually leaks on my Military forks - but I think I do prefer the gaitored look - so will add this to the "todoit" job list!! Will probably drain them and refill with ATF when I do them - they don't seem to give much movement. Isn't it addictive fiddling with these Enfields?
