Although practical, I have never been happy with my rack/topbox arrangement with my single seat EFI as seen here:



I'd appreciate seeing photos of other single seat bikes with racks and luggage to compare with.

What makes you unhappy about this arrangement? I reckon it looks a million dollars! Single seat, rack and box over the back wheel - carrying and back rest all in one package!

Here's a pic from a different angle - I have moved the rack back a little compared with the first photo. It's perhaps the shape of the top box - too much of a blob. I much prefer the Hepco and Becker on my Guzzi but they don't make a fitting for the RE as far as I know.

Move it to the forward position. It l;ooks better and will put its weight over the wheel spindle which is better for handling when loaded. An observation if I may. I have recently noticed that in the photos on here it is often the case that the bike is parked on its centre stand, but the side stand is also down. Can somebody explain the reason for me please. Thanks.

Cheers. I have moved it forward again after taking the photo. As to leaving the side stand up I have never given it a thought. If I did put it up, I'd lower it again immediately before moving it off the centre stand anyway.
