I did 23000 miles on the Electra X before It went out of bussiness. Must have put about 10 new rear tyres on. K70, Mitas, K70 replica's - all of them outstanding. Through rain, snow, ice - I didn't hit the tarmac once. I did fall twice on the Avon road riders which were delivered standard with the new bike - in the first 2000 miles of ownership. If you want safety, you pay for it.
