Sounds like you're all set up, Symon. I read here, that you can get the driving side blind bearing out by whacking the hot case hard on a plank of wood. I whacked to no avail, and then discovered that a drift I had could just about catch the outer lip of the bearing, and I ended up easily knocking it out this way. Find a tool which will do the job before heating the case up.
