To dear LES H }----Hi matey--- You couldn't be the LES H that we have all come to know and respect as a font of accurate knowledge if you DIDN't put in those corrections ( or two !!) now & then----LoL !!!--After all it's that attention to detail that separates the "Engineer Ordinaire" from the Expert. Just Keep-on, keeping on !!!

i,d be very happy to report my engine did not use any oil during my 800 mile trip i think that is excellent,my petrol bullet uses a drop or two some blown out of the engine breather some burnt i would suspect but hey its a very old design ,and i think the the oil that costs £9 per gallon i can afford to use a drop,another thought my diesel bullet never uses engine oil but does burn a drop in the combustion chamber ,happy days to all the contributors in this fine thread bravo!!
