With the good weather having well and truly arrived, I should think all Bullet riders will be out there putting some miles on the clock. Wrong time of year, or just unlucky if your off the road now with some major problem. (Commiserations Jon64! You need that Bullet up and running a.s.a.p). My bike now seems to have caught it's "second wind" since I sorted some recent problems out. And since I fitted this Universal silencer and H's braced bars, I now have a Bullet that looks and sounds like a big, thumping, green laner! Riding around this week, the grin factor has gone through the roof, I can tell you?
And Jon64, dont worry about no replies, I get it all the time, but keep coming back? But, ask a question, or need advice, and this is one of the best places to come to. And just like Flee Bay, if you cant find it and/or the answer here, it probably doesen't exist! Happy Riding.

Hi guys---in keeping with the thread title, this little scenario usually takes place in my garage whenever I'm about to go for a ride}---- MAIN OBSERVATION = "It's raining !!"....REACTION = a) From the chrome-covered Suzuki Marauder 800, "Pleeez DON'T TAKE ME---I'll get all dirty and you know how you HATE all that washing, drying,Solvo-Autosol etc. I'm staying put" !!(Flounce, flounce !)......b)From No2 Bullet, "Sorry--would love to come and play but you DID promise me that top-end overhaul (Only just begun) so I CAN'T come"........ c)From No1 Bullet, "So it's raining---so what " ???? Let's GO !!That's how No1 Bullet has put in over 1,000 miles this year alone...... and jon64, here on this forum--we all ride motorcycles---so we ALL lean, BOTH WAYS !!! So it don't matter--do it, matey ??? ----------NEXT !!!!-----

I reside in the Sunny South-East? In the County Town of The Garden of England to be precise. Been good here all week and last week too! After all that rain recently it is welcome, especially when you're commuting, as every day you open the back door and just grin and bear it, whatever the weather may be like, as no real choice. Saying that, if you want to protect yourself good and proper and ride in these high 70's early 80's temps we're getting now, you dont want to be stationary for too long? We'll be good now until late October I think then it's another 6 months of wrapping up with extra layers? At least, this winter just gone, I didn't get caught in the snow. Winter before was very "interesting" to say the least!

----------sorry, being a tad silly back there. The reality is that 7 rides of 150 miles( 3 hours at 50 mph on any Sunday--I feel a film coming on) apiece will give 1,050 miles. Easy really.
