Hi all .sorted the ampmeter problem ,checked all the wiring and replaced some dodgy conections that had been fitted by a previous owner ,result ampmeter shows some deflection and bike starts ok,went for a run on the said machine and it went well just a slight miss/spit back on opening the revs up otherwise not bad for a 1965 bullet.
