Thanks Mark, once its apart its a crank rebuild, new bearings and then all back together with the 'small' head, ready to go in the bike in autumn.

chris,stick to selling elephant tranquilisers throw the engine in the skip (round the back of my house) leave the mechanic in to the wise!! lol
