Just a comment.
1992 500 Bullet engine stripped & rebuilt with european main bearings & seals in readiness for our Big Adventure MKII. Big end floating bush showed no signs of wear at 35000miles or 56000 of those napoleonic measurements of distance. The crank was split to get the bush out for examination, not just a waggle at the conrod.

I have re-built the engine with a new big-end and have been running her in since Saturday. All looking good at the moment.
